George Sheth
Managing Partner
George Sheth is Managing Partner of Diligent Partners, LLC, a retained executive search firm he co-founded in 2009. Previously, he was Executive Director and Healthcare Practice Leader at another retained executive search firm based in Southern California. Prior to that, George was a Strategy Consulting Principal focused on health plan IT strategy consulting within Kaiser Permanente's Information Technology division. Prior to Kaiser Permanente, Mr. Sheth held executive management roles in the national healthcare consulting practices of Capgemini (now Accenture) and IBM / PricewaterhouseCoopers. He started his career in operational management roles at Health Net and Maxicare Health Plans in the 1980s. Besides retained executive search, his areas of expertise include executive coaching, board governance, strategic business planning, business process redesign, new venture and product development, program/project management, and the application of technology to grow businesses and solve strategic and operational issues.
As a volunteer leader many times over, Mr. Sheth currently serves as Member Relations Board Advisor for the Southern California Chapter of Society for Information Management (www.scsim.org), the premier not-for-profit organization of information technology experts, including CIOs, CTOs and emerging IT leaders. Since 2010, he also has been a frequent presenter/panelist at CIO summits across the West Coast for HMG Strategy (www.hmgstrategy.com) for whom Mr. Sheth serves on its Advisory Board. For several years, George served as Board Governance Committee Chair and as a member of the HR Committee on the Board of Directors of the Bob Hope USO (www.BobHopeUSO.org). For over a decade, George served on the HIMSS Southern California Chapter Board, where he served his one-year term as President in 2008-2009. A diehard Trojan, George has served on the University of Southern California (USC) Asian Pacific Alumni Association Board (served as President: 2006-2007), the USC Marshall Alumni Association National Board, the USC Marshall Partners Board, the USC Alumni Association Board of Governors Executive Committee, and the USC Trojan CEO Network Board.
George has a B.A. degree from Occidental College and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Southern California with an executive M.B.A. in International Business.

Scott co-founded Diligent Partners with George Sheth in 2009, and retired as a Managing Partner at year-end 2022. Prior to our firm, for 14 years Scott previously held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at another retained executive search firm. Scott was responsible for our firm’s search operations, client management, and sales and marketing. He managed searches for many leadership roles across such industries as Biotech and Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Products, Financial Services, Healthcare, High Tech, Management Consulting, Medical Device, Manufacturing and Distribution, and Retail. Prior to entering executive search, Scott was a founding Principal at Transition Management Consulting, where he led client engagements in Organizational Assessments, Information Technology Strategy, Architecture and Platform Migration. Scott also was a Managing Consultant at SHL Systemhouse (now EDS). At Gartner Group, Scott was a Managing Director in Consulting Services. Scott began his Gartner career in sales as an Account Executive and then as the National Accounts Manager for Gartner’s largest Southern California clients.
